About Us
Prioleau & Milfort, LLC is a boutique employment and business law firm with more than 60 years of combined experience guiding employees, executives, and business owners through complex workplace disputes, executive transitions, and business conflicts. Our attorneys began their careers at major national labor and employment firms, giving us a rare dual perspective: we understand how companies think, how they defend cases, and where meaningful leverage is created.
We bring a strategic, steady approach to matters involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, sexual harassment, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, partnership disputes, and high‑stakes executive negotiations. Clients trust us for clear guidance, honest expectations, and advocacy that positions them for the strongest possible outcome.
Whether resolving a workplace dispute, navigating a career‑defining transition, or protecting a business in a moment of risk, our mission is the same: deliver exceptional service, personal attention, and a path forward grounded in experience, clarity, and results.

Job J. Milfort
Job J. Milfort is the founding and managing partner of Prioleau & Milfort, LLC, and has practiced law since 2003. For more than 20 years, he has helped clients navigate some of the most stressful moments of their professional lives—job loss, discrimination, retaliation, business disputes, and career transitions that feel overwhelming or unfair. Job is known for his strategic, steady approach, providing clear guidance, honest expectations, and a plan that makes the path forward feel manageable.
Job represents employees, executives, and business owners in a wide range of employment and business matters, including discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, sexual harassment, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and partnership disputes. He also works closely with professionals navigating career changes—negotiating severance packages, reviewing employment agreements, and advising on non‑competes, NDAs, and other restrictive covenants that impact their next steps.
Before founding his own firm, Job practiced at two large firms—Alston & Bird LLP and Baker Donelson—representing national and international employers. This experience gives him a unique advantage today: he understands how companies think, how they defend cases, and where the pressure points are. He uses that insight to protect his clients and position them for the strongest possible outcome.
Job has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyer (2017–2026) and previously as a Rising Star (2012–2016), and has been named to Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite in Labor & Employment. He has argued before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, appeared before the Georgia Supreme Court, and represented clients before the U.S. Department of Labor, the EEOC, and other federal and state agencies.
A Miami native, Job began his legal career working with judges and criminal defense attorneys who instilled in him the values of preparation, clarity, and compassion. Those principles continue to guide his practice. Whether advising an executive, counseling a small business, or standing up for someone mistreated at work, Job’s goal remains the same: to provide clients with the confidence, clarity, and advocacy they need to move forward.
